New Art Coaster Project Launched Today!
over 2 years ago – Fri, Aug 20, 2021 at 05:26:16 PM

Greeting Everyone!

Thank you all for backing my “Deep Ones” art, collectible drink coaster project. It was a fun challenge to design and paint, and I am glad you liked it!

I expect just about everyone has their coasters now, safe and sound in their new lairs (I mean homes)!

Hey, I just launched a New Kickstarter today!

"RPG Classic Monsters: Owlbear and Kobold Drink Coasters"

Here's the link:

Please stop by for a visit to my KS campaign and show it some love!

I had been working on some more monsters (between doing my favorite Lovecraft-inspired designs), and ended up painting both an Owlbear (darn fur and feathers everywhere!), and a Kobold.

You have no idea how difficult it is to find them, let alone get some action shots and get the heck outta there before getting myself into too much trouble. :D

Shipped out the last of everything!
almost 3 years ago – Thu, Jul 22, 2021 at 08:15:54 PM

Hey! I Shipped out the last of everything!

(Except for the 3 backers who have not filled out their surveys): #18 - C.H., #146 - A.L. and # 250 - I. Mc.

I also updated on BackerKit and here on KS, the shipping status of backer's reward.

Hmm, I forgot to post this, but here it is anyway, a postal bin full of boxes from the Miskatonic Woods.

Boxes are on their way!

For all box orders by backers, you should have received an email notification that your box was shipped, along with a tracking number.

I make sure the post office clerk scans in what is known as the, “End of Day" scan sheet or manifest, so that the packages will be tracked, but sometimes this still doesn't show up in the system until the next day or two!

More on the way!
almost 3 years ago – Wed, Jul 21, 2021 at 02:03:39 PM

Hello All,

I just shipped out a couple more bins of coasters today.

I couldn't use the computer until the wild and crazy thunder storm passed, and then I forgot to post the Update until later tonight, so here it is.

I'm hopeful to send out the last tomorrow, since I buy the box postage on the computer and print the labels.

More bins of coasters going out to my backers!

Thank you all and have a good night.

I think I will be dreaming about stuffing envelopes and sticking stamps on them for a while....

Best regards,

TOM

Packing and Shipping Frenzy in Miskatonic Woods!
almost 3 years ago – Mon, Jul 19, 2021 at 02:01:22 AM

I was so busy packing and shipping (and trying to wrangle those spreadsheets), that I forgot to post an Update that I had already shipped some coasters out on Saturday as planned!

A couple cartons of coasters packed snug in their envelopes for distant travels far from the Miskatonic Woods...

I should have them rest of them all packed and ready to be mailed out by this Monday or Tuesday. Whew!

I'll let you know in the next Update!

Best regards,

TOM

Update: Lucky #7. Busy Wrangling Spreadsheets & Creating Packing Sleeves...
almost 3 years ago – Wed, Jul 14, 2021 at 06:28:10 AM

Hello All,

I forgot to give an Update the other day when the coaster were delivered, so this is really 2 Updates for the price of one.   So here they are!

Boxes of the new coasters, “Deep Ones”, arrived on my front porch!

I'm working steadily on getting all the survey info in order as it comes in (there are a few stragglers).

I've finished the prepping of the paper sleeves with the slots (that I cut one-at-a-time - many 100’s of them!), in order to fit the coasters inside so that they don't slide around while in transit.

There are a number of steps involved, and you can see a few in the images below:

Some steps in making the paper sleeves that hold the coasters in place inside the envelopes.

I'll have to wrangle the rest of the survey info on the spreadsheets before I can start printing out the envelopes and the labels for the boxes, but it looks like I'll be doing that tonight and I'll be printing and be stuffing boxes and envelopes tomorrow!

Woot-woot!

Best regards,

TOM
